1963-02.03-Brian macReady-v-Spurs-CentPressIt is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Brian Macready who has died at the age of 75 from a chest infection and pneumonia. Brian joined the Albion in December 1959 as an amateur and became a professional in February 1960. He made 15 1st team appearances, scoring his only goal against Cardiff City.

He made over 100 Central League appearances before moving onto Mansfield Town in June 1964. Worcester City, Banbury Spencer and a few more non league clubs came and went before he retired as a footballer and went into business.

Our sincere condolences go to his wife Melva, children Karen & Alison and to all his grandchildren.
The funeral will take place on Monday 16th October at Sutton Coldfield Crematorium at 10.30am.
