“The Association members were out in force last night (Wednesday 6th April) as highly placed Bournemouth came to town, With no fewer than ten of our members either on duty in the East stand suites or enjoying the hospitality in the Regis Suite.
Wayne Fereday.
Mark Grew, Martyn Bennett and Darryl Burgess were ‘on duty’ in the East Stand, Ally Robertson was ‘Wow-ing’ the Corporate guests in the Richardson Suite as part of his role with the Albion Foundation, and Barry Cowdrill, Gary Hackett and Micky Fudge joined Chairman Ray Wilson, Secretary Geoff Snape and Treasurer Norman Westbury in the Regis Suite to enjoy the game, along with other guests.
The ‘icing on the cake’ was of course a fine 2-0 win over the men from the south coast, a victory inspired by a non-stop performance from Andy Carroll, which certainly helped to ease the pain of last Sunday’s disappointing defeat against Birmingham City.”
