An important part of the Association calendar is our AGM, a time when members can get together enjoy each other’s company but more importantly find out how healthy the Association is and what are its plans for the future.
We met following the Sheffield Wednesday game in February. 25 former players attended the meeting though 4 more attended the game but could not stay for the meeting.
It was an excellent day, starting with a brunch in the Richardson Suite, a QA with President Brendon Batson, former Manager Ron Atkinson and former Albion & Wednesday player Carlton Palmer.

The game was exciting with a last-minute winner from Jayson Mulumby to send our members into the meeting very happy.
The meeting went well with our usual discussion about the role that both the PFA and the newly formed Players Foundation can offer former players. Paul Raven representing the FPA and Brendon Batson The Players Foundation.
The future of the Association is very healthy in the short and mid-term, even though we are all getting a little older.
Great day was attended by:
Brendon Batson, Ray Wilson, Geoff Snape, Norman Westbury, Bob Taylor, Kevin Donovan, Gary Robson, Daryl Burgess, Paul Raven, Paul Mardon, Campbell Crawford, Stan Jones, Jimmy Cumbes, Vernon Hodgson, Kenny Foggo, Laurie Rampling, Ally Robertson, Mark Grew, Joe Mayo, Mick Fudge, Alan Merrick, David Butler, Peter Latchford, Derek Monaghan, Mick Perry.
