The Richardson Suite pre match celebrations for the visit of Derby County to The Hawthorns on Saturday, were indeed a revelation with the one and only Tony Brown, the star attraction alongside captain fantasticJohn Wile and his minder Ally Robertson. Andy Hunt and Drryl Burgess made it a five strong Former Players team for the afternoon and MC John Homer set the scene with his ‘Black Country’ fables.

At half time Ally Robertson was pitchside to present the relatives of Albion’s legendary goalkeeper Joe Reader with his club cap to round off a special day, for the Association as well as the club, with Secretary Geoof Snape and Treasurer Norman Westbury overseeing proceedings in the Regis Suite with former players Noel Luke and Micky Fudge, with a memorable cameo from Andy Johnston on behalf of the association’s guest for the afternoon.
