We are saddened to learn of the death of Robert Hopkins at the tender age of 64. Robert died after a short illness. Hoppy played over 80 games for the Albion between 1987-89, joining from Manchester City. Robert’s career involved playing for a number of Midland’s Clubs including Villa, Shrewsbury and of course Birmingham City, who he was perhaps most associated with.
